i like the fact that in this book, Marie is a strong woman. She has a strong personality and very smart. She helped jason in his ordeals unlike most women in thriller stories that just add trouble to the main character. Its sad though that the Marie in the book is very different from the movie version starred by Matt Damon.

One of the best general anthologies I've seen--the poems are all short, easy to read, playful, appealing. As always, there's a mixture of the good, the very good, and the sorta lame, but this is a great book to have in your bag or car for those long waits at the dentist's office, or over lunch break, or whenever you need a literary pick-me-up.

painful story of unrequited love. i personally prefer happy endings.
