"Pitchforks and Torches" is an outstanding compendium of Olbermann's "Worst Persons in the World," "Quick Comments" and "Special Comments." An articulate rendering of the unfortunate facts behind the Right Wing's rise to power and their constituency, this book is brilliant. Unfortunately, as is the case with most such books, those who are in most need of the information therein are unlikely to be the ones who read it. Olbermann takes on both the ultra-right and the ultra-left with his commentaries. If there were more like him, willing to stand out against the deliberate ignorance and malfeasance with which we are now dealing, I truly think that this country would not be on the road to ruin that the Right is embracing so frenetically.
