Mma Ramotswe kayalar. Oku onu.
This is my favorite book so far in life. I am a reading teacher, so I should be able to come up with a host of reasons, but I really can't articulate it. I've read it and reread it, and I still want to read it again.
My favourite of his books, once again because it's so realistic, it really could happen.
I’m no wordsmith, so I’ll spare you a long review. You know how a Jodi Picoult novel is “ripped from the headlines" like a TV movie? This book is like that, only worse. Besides boring us with environmentalism, overpopulation, political correctness, depresssion, hedonism, and oh so enlightend politics, this novel features: Useless characters, for example Jenna and Eliza, Unbelievable situations, for example a 19 year-old going to Paraguay to procure truck parts for the government, Lousy, lousy, lousy prose, Unlikeable, unbelievable, trite characters I couldn't care less about, And a neat little ending so stupid it could have been written for Hallmark. Worst of all I spent 600 pages of my life reading it when I could have been reading something else. I’d like to give it negative stars: -***** OK, I feel better now.
